1. Create your own recording studio. Don't waste your money and precious time driving to and from a rented recording studio. To become more productive, create your studio at the comforts of your own home. You can do this by having your room or your basement sound-proofed. Then, load it up with recording materials like quality microphones, computer with audio card, editing software, and mixing board. By doing this, you can do your recording any time of the day.

2. Prepare a script. You don't want to forget the things that you would like to discuss while doing your recording as this can be a great waste of time and effort. To avoid this from happening and to make your recording well-guided, create a script that contains all the information that you need to include in your product. However, do not depend so much on it as you don't want to sound very scripted. Be ready to think on your feet and insert adlibs to give your recording a personality or human touch.

3. Stay focused when doing your recording. Avoid distractions that can ruin your momentum. Also, pay particular attention to your grammar, diction, enunciation, speed, volume, and voice inflections. This is to make your recording sound more interesting and to give your clients great listening experience.

4. Use conversational tone. To easily build rapport with your clients and to easily put them at ease, speak as if you are directly talking to them. Be spontaneous, warm, and friendly all throughout. Don't forget to inject humor whenever appropriate or show empathy when needed. These will surely make your clients feel that they are just having a great conversation with you and not a boring lecture.

5. Solicit feedback. Before you make your audio products available online, get some people who can listen and critique your job. These people can offer you with great insights, recommendations, and feedback that you can use in improving your end-product.
